Serenades by Sonata

Serenades by Sonata is a purpose-built, state-of-the-art memory care assisted living facility in Longwood, Florida designed by Mosaic Design Studio. The special demands of memory care residents are provided for in a beautiful, safe and serene environment where staff attends to their needs in a flexible and caring atmosphere.

The square, enclosed-courtyard building design is divided into three “neighborhoods,” each with access to the central gardens, paths, and sitting areas. Inside each neighborhood, central seating arrangements provide pleasant areas for interaction.

This model memory care facility, frequently visited by architects and memory care professionals, integrates important biophilic elements to bring nature’s stress relieving influence to the residents.

A lush garden space sits at the heart of the facility. The core passageways have no direct daylight or views to the outside, but each neighborhood features a large 8’ x 10’ tropical-themed Luminous SkyCeiling, a surprisingly realistic virtual skylight.
