Werner House is a refurbished WWI French Opera Mansion that Mosaic Design Studio, a leading senior living design firm led by Lisa M. Cini, reimagined as an Airbnb short term rental where facility owners and managers, as well as designers and community residents, could test out the latest technology in a residential setting.
Cini invited designers like David Ashen of Dash Design, Jaclyn Moser and Chris Sommers of Harkin Interiors, as well as Dale Miller of Daring by Design and Jane Rohde of JSR Associates to collaborate on this unique project under the umbrella of Infinity Living—The Werner House.
“The best solutions come from collaborations,” says Lisa. “If I want the world to experience and learn from what we are doing at the Werner House, control has to be given over for the greater good of helping seniors age in the best possible manner.”
As a designer/manufacturer of research-verified biophilic design applications, Sky Factory was invited to bring in its latest SkyCeiling—the Aperture SkyCeiling to give the basement SPA a therapeutic and restorative multi-sensory connection to open skies.
Read more about The Werner House project on our spring blog story The Future of Aging in Place and check out both the Aperture SkyCeiling installation above the cold and hot pools in the SPA area, as well as the Classic Luminous SkyCeiling installation at the entrance where guests can head to the adjacent underground gym or the relaxing SPA.
